There used to be like 13 channels. So we all watched the same things. We watched Hulk Hogan wrestling in the WWF on Saturday mornings. Malcolm Jamal Warner was Theo on the Cosby Show. Ozzy was on MTV. Before you had a zillion streaming services, we had a shared culture.

He body slammed Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III is what he did. He carried the WWF on his back for a decade and ended the Cold War with a leg drop single-handed. He taught the world how to rip off their shirt and flex. And in this house Hulk Hogan is a hero. End of story.

It's been a tough week for us '80s kids. 🙏
