It’s that time of the month where Kourt and I make sure that students we work with have active, positive lunch balances. If they’re zero or negative, we take care of that immediately and pay it or add money. No child deserves to learn hungry, and we’re making sure of that. ❤️

A contractor came to our house today to give a quote and he commented: “Your house is so cozy. I can tell that there’s a lot of joy in this home.” ❤️

Work day = done, and I saw that not only was there a school shooting, but that news outlets are now interviewing students? PLEASE end the practice of interviewing students who just experienced a school shooting. It’s exploitative to take advantage of this as a news opportunity.

When I’m stressed out about news and events, I resort to cleaning my home office and doing laundry. This is definitely a “clean the office and do as many loads of laundry as possible” morning.
