I am extremely saddened and disappointed by the discriminatory and unfounded blanket exclusions on trans women in sports. Along with Mermaids, I am urging UK sporting bodies to start from a point of inclusion and to adopt trans-inclusive policies across all sports.

While everyone is making resolutions about how much MORE they should be doing, I’m planning to do less. Less overworking, less missing out, less stress, less guilt, less saying ‘yes’ to everything, less exhaustion. Bring on 2023 and how less will give more (I hope!) x

Amazon workers in Coventry made history today: Becoming the first workers at the company to strike in UK history. They're standing-up to one of the world's biggest companies, demanding better pay and employment practices. I was proud to join them on the picket line today ✊🏽

Cannot believe 21st century Britain has just had an election where there are accounts of "thousands" of people not being allowed to vote, because they didn't have the right ID. Voter fraud was never a problem before. Why have we solved a non-problem by inventing a new one?

As your constituent, Helen Hayes 💙🌹, at Labour conference I hope you'll make time to meet with Shelter and discuss how your party's manifesto can include the solutions to fix the housing emergency. Please contact them at [email protected].

Rishi Sunak paid just 23% tax on his £2.2m earnings last year. It confirms a suspicion held by many. That there’s no cost of living crisis for the super rich. And that the very wealthy are not being fairly taxed. taxjustice.uk/blog/the-prime…

That hotel in Rotherham is not housing illegal migrants. It is housing asylum seekers. People who have fled from danger hoping the UK would be a place of safety, and are now surrounded by murderous thugs trying to burn them alive. Get it right, journalists. Tell the truth.

If the people rioting now were Black and Brown the government would declare a state of emergency. Remember what happened when there were peaceful BLM protests?

Let’s not be classist/ableist when condemning far-right riots. Racism isn’t a “working class trait”. It’s woven into the fabric of our society and comes from the top. One of the few things that has trickled down. But it doesn’t have to be this way - we can build a better world.
