The fact that this man remains in post tells you that John Swinney either hasn't got a clue about FE, or he thinks Dey is good enough for our sector.
We need a vote of no confidence in Graeme Dey.
That's if anyone can find him.

I've been an SNP member for just over 10 years now. I've given blood, sweat and tears for the party. But if John Swinney believes that Deputy First Minister should go to someone who sees me as less deserving of basic rights, less human to them, then I won't campaign for them.

I seem to have woken up the sector of Scottish society with a huge chip on their shoulder and a belief that education and universities belong to posh kids with trust funds. 'Not for the likes of us'.
It's sad, and exactly why we need working class kids in colleges.

you should get a certain number of “reading days” per year along with your allotted sick days, so that you can phone your boss and say “I can’t come in to work today, I’m reading in bed” and then you spend the day reading in bed
