Sick and tired of the UK government acting like, and pretending to be, a world power, while its own citizens use foodbanks, millions of its people are destitute and its kids queue up at dental vans to have their teeth removed.

Reading the news. Oh fuck. What a fucking world. May ordinary people everywhere be safe from the consequences of violent leaders delighting in playing violent games that have, excuse the plagiarism, violent ends.

Just spent yet more of my own money on white board markers (don't @ me about ICT, that's a whole other drama) and College Employers Scotland have two weeks to sort out this strike before I start using them for seditious purposes. 🤨

The Scottish Government seem to be quick enough to step in to try to rescue the utter nonsense that is the Commonwealth Games, but lecturers have been waiting years for a pay rise and they do bugger all.

One of the worst things about the whole Post Office scandal, is the fact that middle managers first assumption was that those below them were capable of theft. No question of systemic failure, just finger pointing.

So it seems that money is so tight in the FE sector that the principle of CoGC can fly himself, a colleague, and his exec chef to New York for tartan week at the tax payers expense. Don't think we need to worry about an influx of students from the states. More FE money wasted.
