“We are talking about a system that is broken, that is not serving vendors, that is not serving folks buying goods from vendors.” We're proud to join with street vendors, Street Vendor Project, and advocates to call on the New York City Council to finally create a fair vendor system.
We're proud to stand with street vendors who are demanding much-needed #StreetVendorReform. As part of this New York City Council package, our bill, Intro 408, would create a dedicated NYC Department of Small Business Services division to assist these entrepreneurs who represent a vital economic engine for our city.

Street vending in NYC is broken. Vending caps leave over 80% of vendors in neighborhoods like mine without access to proper education or a path to compliance. I marched with Street Vendor Project to support Int. 431, 408, 24, and 47 for a fair and regulated vending system.
