It's the first day of Pirate Takeover 2025 at Alton Towers Resort, which is running through to 23rd February 🏴‍☠️ We’ve been greeted by Alton Bear & the pirates have decorated Towers Street, including once again dressing up the frog fountains in their pirate getup!

Who else used to love Beanoland at Chessington World of Adventures? I had so much fun in this area when I was growing up!

A sad day but progress means difficult decisions 🥹 Following the news that #ProjectPlay has been approved Chessington have wasted no time in site clearance which, unfortunately, means the end of an iconic coaster - Scorpion Express Work began yesterday on it's removal 🏗️ 1/2

🥹 The haunting remains of The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley, a ride that once held the title of the world’s longest rollercoaster. The faded signage, the abandoned station, and the overgrown trackbed are all that’s left of this legendary ride, which closed in 2019.

Avalanche has had a glow up with more fresh paint and is finally testing after having work done on the station building last week. Icon has started testing this morning as 🙌

Wild Asia and its attractions have been removed from the Chessington World of Adventures Resort website. Could this confirm that the area will remain closed throughout the 2025 season for the development of the rumored Minecraft-themed land? 🟩⛏️
