First met Kenny when I was a cub reporter at the Atlanta Daily World and he was in town for ABC News covering the missing and murdered children's case in 1981-82. Participated in the @WayneState journalism and internship career fair today as the rep for Report for America. Met many future journalists, including Johnathan Shephard, who was an intern in RFA's inaugural internship program this summer. He spent eight weeks at BridgeDetroit.

Combs, a reporter/editor in the '80s and '90s Oakland Press π and an editorial page writer The Detroit News and then journalism professor at the UniversityOfArkansas. She was also director of The Journalism Institute for Media Diversity . NABJ Print Task Force
