Just in... Regional Australia hits Prime Minister’s unemployment target. The Regional Australia Institute’s (RAI) latest job vacancy report shows that regional unemployment has already fallen below 4 percent – the national target. regionalaustralia.org.au

The Regulatory Legislation Amendment (Reform) Bill 2021 is being presented in tomorrow’s sitting. The reforms will take away the government legislated mandate for local councils to place their classifieds in regional Victorian local newspapers. The bill needs to be voted down.
