On Sunday, 10/29/23, Ventura County Copter 4 responded to a brush fire in the Camarillo area. The “Field Incident” burned approximately 21 acres and was quickly extinguished by responding personnel. #VCFD #VCSH

Twenty four years ago, on January 31, 2000, 88 lives were lost when Alaska Air flight 261 tragically crashed into the Pacific Ocean between Port Hueneme and Anacapa Island. Memorial held at the Sundial constructed in honor and remembrance of those lost.
