Card art is one of the most important things for a TCG, these updated characters are just the foundation for what is coming.

Every daemon type has little lore behind them that their cards have been designed around. The Gargoyles are all about protection with abilities that can negate effects, block attacks, and stop damage.

These guys were orignially called "Ancients" but the Grim universe already has beings that go by that name so we changed theirs so it wouldn't be confusing.

A couple of the daemons got a full redesign from their old looks. The Primordial was one of them, and has turned into what is probably my favorite looking species. 🔥

Naturally because of their deathly touch the umbral cards were all designed around death or killing enemy daemons. One even atomizes the enemies that get too close, removing it from the game completely.

The Godeater was another daemon that got a full redesign from the original as we were working on these character designs. The new look better shows how the head opens up into a huge mouth while the larger body gives the feeling of character that would consume a lot.

Careful around these guys, get too close and you will surely get burned.
