Even though this was obviously a joke and would be absurd. There would have been some really fun second round matchups: Tennessee - K-State BYU - Oregon Miami - Iowa Colorado - Indiana

Really gotta figure out this whole twitter algorithm thing. I'll put out something I think would hit and it has less than 100 views weeks later. Then I'll put out something I think is not much of anything and it gets 10-30k in like 2 days

Gundy vs Whittingham: All time wins - Gundy vs Ranked - Gundy (by a lot) Bowl wins - Gundy Gundy just missed his first bowl since 2005, Whittingham has missed *4. Utah was a G5 for Whittingham's first 6 seasons. CBS Coaches Rankings: Gundy - 34 Whittingham - 11 WHAT?!

The same people that agree with this are the same ones against a 16 team playoff. Their reasoning is the season is too long already and player safety, but you are going to force teams that had to play an extra game (CCG) to play an extra playoff game, while ND gets a bye.

The two most likely outcomes from this format would have been: 1) Ohio State still beating Notre Dame in the Championship Game. 2) Semifinal SEC and B1G CCG Rematches. So what are we actually solving here?

Vanderbilt just had their first winning season in over 10 years, is 5-56 vs ranked opponents over the last 20 years. Last time they beat Alabama the Berlin Wall still stood, it was their first time ever beating an AP top 5 ranked team. Alabama should've been fined for losing!

NFL - 43.75% NBA - 53.3% MLB - 40% FCS - 18.6% CBB - 18.7% CWS - 21.3% FBS @ 16 - 11.9% I'll never understand the argument that expanding the playoff system is bad for the sport, when all the 4 team "playoff" has done is widen the gaps between the SEC/B1G and the XII/ACC and G5
