Everyone wants enterprise b2b ACV, no one wants 6-12 month sales cycles, 200 point security questionnaires, redlines, net 60, white glove onboarding, services partner ecosystem, last minute procurement negotiation step, 14 page MSAs, champions that leave the company. 90-180 day

Is it just me or is Claude Code freezing a lot this week? Getting close to forking out another $200/m to use codex as a backup :/

LLM coding benchmarks are great and all, but if claude code freezes for an hour and drops a solution with even more bugs, while codex solves it elegantly in 5 minutes...

It's a superiority complex. "Using X is difficult. I'm using X successfully, therefore I must be smarter than everyone else". If you make X easier to use then it's eating in to their share of superiority. They hate that.

Tempted to join Google just to fix endless daily annoyances. 1: the account name toast when opening google drive sheets that obscures the edit block. Why make me wait five seconds before i can edit a spreadsheet? Just move it to the top or get rid of it.

I wish more startup failures were post-mortemed. It's often more important to know what to dodge than to try to cargo cult success stories.

The curse of open source: yes, there's an app. No, it doesn't work on your computer because it was last updated 3 years ago and isn't compatible anymore. With AI I can just update it and fix some behaviours without needing to learn anything about gnome shell extensions. Love it.

Chrome DevTools is, by far, my favorite mcp server. By running these 2 commands in your terminal, you get to have Claude Code come into your browser with full power: Launch a chrome browser: > google-chrome --remote-debugging-port=9222

This isn't a Ruby vs. Go problem. It's an "we hired 50 engineers so let's split everything apart" problem. Here's what happens: Company grows fast. Leadership comes from Big Tech. They bring their playbook. Split the app into pieces. One piece per team. Everybody owns

Jeremy Howard Simplicity (“the UNIX way”) ceased to be a virtue once people stopped getting penalized for overcomplexity. In fact, creating a convoluted pile of devops scripts can be a great fundraising tool, since many VCs can’t tell the diff between a mountain of tech debt and a moat.

AWS us-east-1 DynamoDB down affecting multiple services. Ring cameras offline. You'd think Amazon would invest in some redundancy for a critical security service like Ring... Why does 90% of the internet still depend on us-east-1?

Spent 30mins iterating on a plan with codex, while claude code was still frozen on the first prompt... Why is it so unstable the past two months? Seriously close to just cancelling my claude max subscription in favour of a codex one.
