The only ones who saw that coming for Russian strategic assets were Russian amateur analysts and military bloggers. In an environment where flow of information is strictly controlled and defense reporting mostly adheres to the establishment line, it helps to listen to outsiders.

A bit crazy to look back at this tweet that was put out a few minutes after the initial strikes by India. Could have never imagined that the deliberate targeting of select infrastructure (and not others) would end up mattering so much to the whole standoff and its framing.
