Last night, Russia once again unleashed terror on #Ukraine, launching waves of drones& missiles on #Kyiv and #Odesa. A maternity ward and residential buildings were struck. Civilians were killed and wounded. Putin and his imperial ambitions remain the greatest obstacle to peace.

Russia's war crimes and terrorizing of Ukrainian people continues. It is outrageous to see such kind of evil. Ukraine will prevail and war criminals will face justice. Sooner or later.

Russia’s goal is not peace. Today, we're ramping up pressure on Russia with an 18th package of hard-biting sanctions. Targeting Russia’s energy and banking sectors ↓ x.com/i/broadcasts/1…

Russia's "fortress" facade crumbled. #Ukraine's #Spiderweb operation was executed brilliantly& exposed Russia's profound vulnerability. Meanwhile, 🇺🇦 showed excellent counterstrike capabilities, as well as impressive achievements of its defense industry. #SlavaUkraini

Europe is putting Nord Stream 1 & 2 behind for good. We also propose to lower the oil price cap from 60 to 45 $ per barrel. Oil is one third of Russia’s government revenues. We need to cut this source. We'll discuss how to best coordinate with partners at the G7 Summit.

Speaking at the Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C. to advocate for peace and prevent World War III. Supporting Ukraine is “America First.” If we don’t help stop Russia now, we’ll pay a far higher price later in both American dollars and American lives. We are part of NATO. If

84 years ago, on June 14, the Soviet occupiers began the mass deportations from Lithuania. On this Day of Mourning and Hope, 🇱🇹 honor the memory of the hundreds of thousands of Lithuanians who were torn from their homes, families, and homeland by totalitarian Kremlin regime.

In June 1941, Soviet authorities deported ~45,000 people from Estonia, Latvia & Lithuania. Hundreds of thousands more were forced to leave. Since 2022, 2.8+ mln Ukrainians have been deported or forced to leave for Russia. Different century. Same crimes. #StopRussianImperialism

How many times can one step on the same rake? This has been proven many times. If you treat Russia nicely, it takes it as weakness and continues without scruples until hits the wall. Refraining from criticising, regret it’s absence in G7, waiting for something is a fatal mistake.

While the world watches the escalation in the Middle East, #Putin continues to bomb #Ukraine. Over a dozen dead in #Kyiv alone show that Russia is using diplomacy merely as a facade. Putin doesn't want a solution, he wants capitulation. We will continue to increase the pressure.

Russia again attacked civilians, killing 22, injuring 140. Today at UKR Embassy in AZE I expressed my condolences to the families of the victims of Russia’s ongoing terror. The world needs to step up its support for Ukraine. War crimes must be punished.
