My deer husband was trying to show off his rudimentary knowledge of Punjabi. I was asked to list at least ten words. Sat Sri akal, sarbat da bhala, ek onkar, Amritsari kulcha. Ten words and I won!

Add grated carrots, finely chopped onion, coriander leaves, fresh ground paste of salt, coconut, green chillies and hing, some cumin seeds to rice flour. Mix well. Flatten it by hand on an aluminium foil dabbing a little oil. Tava roasted. Akki roti. #breakfast #Karnataka
