Sarah Cowan Great to hear as I’m excited to be coming to the The British Academy summer showcase on Friday night! I’m looking forward to the talks and performances and being in your beautiful building again. If anyone reading this is in London on Friday night or Saturday, do check it out.

Inspiring evening at The British Academy summer showcase last night, with talks & performances showcasing the impact of social science & humanities - followed by a day of relaxed tourism in London with a view from TheShardLondon and some food & drink by the Thames.

It’s great to see my name on an electric van at my university! My van is part of an EV fleet purchased as part of our net zero plans. Other vans names are Pen E Van, Sos-fan-Fach and Myfanwy. Great initiative Cardiff University 😀

We chatted to John McDonnell, Tulip Siddiq, Rishi Sunak and Jessica Morden MP, who was a Queen's Guide!

Landore marsh in N Gower is such a contrast to S Gower beaches, but equally beautiful for a days walk. It reminds me of my time time living in Wivenhoe Town on the Essex coast, with the tidal creaks and abandoned boats.

At the reSHAPE event at the stunning new The British Academy. We’re exploring how SHAPE researchers and research are a force to advance social and economic causes and how the skills of SHAPE grads & academics are highly sought after. Looking forward to AI & innovation sessions later

An amazing evening with our Girlguiding Brownies in Bath Waitrose collecting for ChildrenInNeed. We raised over £100 from customers to add to the £165 the brownies raised at home through sports challenges and bake sales. Amazing efforts! Girlguiding Bath

Have you seen ABBA Voyage ? We did today, what a treat on a wet Sunday in January. It has almost unbelievable ABBA avatars, fantastic lighting and of course the music is the star of the show & timeless. Maybe booking to go again - this time in a dance booth 🕺🏿

Arrived at the Eurovision party that this year is in Basel after a scenic trip through Switzerland. Now swapping calm countryside for crazy crowds. Eurovision Song Contest
