Unpopular take:
Those who use request tracing as their primary Telemetry. Either,

1. Don't exist.
2. Have never operated at scale.
3. Are engineers who have never managed a business outcome.
4. Are about to lay off engineers shortly.

vmagent allows reducing RAM usage by more than 10x comparing to Grafana agent or Prometheus in agent mode when scraping many targets. It also reduces network bandwidth usage (and costs) by 4x!

Unfortunately, this is common software engineering practice - to add a ton of half-baked features and to change the UI in horrible ways instead of polishing existing features and keeping consistent UI. Examples out of my head: Google Analytics , Grafana , Android , Windows
