3/ The value of this facility is multiple, it will empower farmers, produce biofuel, contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions and catalyse local economies.

2/ The croton, cotton and castor seeds from which the biofuel is being processed are sourced from farmers in 10 ASAL counties, soon to be expanded to 15. The investment targets some 250,000 farmers at its full operational capacity.

1/ Had the opportunity to visit Eni Kenya Bv in Wote, Makueni County. This facility, the first of its kind on the continent, has began production of crude biofuel that will be refined to produce  petrol, diesel, gas and lubricants.
