Varsity lost 1-4, winning at one singles, to the Crown Point Bulldogs this evening. We’re back at it on Tuesday against Portage @ portage at 415!

The Valparaiso HS Girls Tennis match tonight against Chesterton has been postponed. The match will take place at Valpo next Wednesday (5/8) starting at 4:15

Yesterday the Valpo girls tennis team competed in the Angola Invitational and won 1st place as a team and multiple individual awards were rewarded to our players!

The girls tennis team beat Lake Central tonight 4-1! Finishing with a 3 set effort and win by Grace Healy and Aleah Ferngren at 1 doubles. Tomorrow we play Chesterton at our home courts at 430! Please come out and bring your support and cheers!

First round of sectionals complete with Valpo sweeping Portage 5-0. Solid play from 2 doubles to secure the win and great 3 sets from 1 doubles and 2 singles! On to Portage again to face off against Wheeler tomorrow at 430!

For all who have been sticking with us this season, our season came to a close 2-3 against Penn. #1 singles, Rose Pastoret, got it done and #2 singles, AK Flude, finished the last match of the season with a win. Thank you for the support this season!

I don’t have a score, but I believe Valpo’s Rose Pastoret just won the regional singles title here at Portage to go back to state for the second straight season. (Reminder: she’s a sophomore.)
