Another fabulous session with our local adults with learning disabilities . They love the Panathlon Challenge activities and have made so much progress thanks to our team of Pocklington Rugby in the Community volunteers . @sherbutthouse
It was Christmas jumpers today for our final Panathlon Challenge session with Pocklington Rugby in the Community learning disabled adults ..15 adults participated and enjoyed Boccia , kurling , ten pin topple and Harlem hoop . Sessions resume in the New Year thanks to our great team of volunteers.
It is with great sadness today that I have finally called it a day ! Thank you Panathlon Challenge and the legend Tony Waymouth who has been my inspiration and has made Panathlon what it is today with his passion & commitment . I’ll miss it but will follow with interest North Yorkshire Inclusive SSP x
Another fab Panathlon Challenge session with our local adults with special needs run by our volunteers from Pocklington Rugby in the Community . Today’s activities included boccia , kurling , ten pin topple and harlem hoop. We finished with a foam javelin competition then tea and coffee !

We welcomed a new volunteer Gary who has special needs himself but wanted to volunteer and was a great help .

Today Pocklington Tennis club we restart the Inclusive Tennis sessions for learning/physical disabled adults . Sessions are run by our Head Coach Sean with help from club volunteers . All made possible by support from the club , Panathlon Challenge and Pocklington Rugby in the Community Yorkshire Tennis. Can’t wait .
