After a long hard season, the Year 6 Boys football team have won the Borough Post Cup Trophy⚽️🏆 Fantastic work team we are so proud!

Our Sports Days are in full swing now! Thank you to our Year 6 helpers who are ensuring the day runs smoothly.

Our School Presidents proudly represented Valence at a B&D Rights Respecting Schools event. They spoke passionately about pupil voice and participation at Valence, encouraging teachers and senior leaders in the borough to engage with UNICEF’s Rights Respecting Schools programme.

Our Year 1 & 2 athletics team were out on the track today!

The pupils and parents really enjoyed the science workshop today. Thank you to all who took part.

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel Sports Day today, although the rain seems to be easing off, the ground is quite slippery and too wet to sit on. However, we will reschedule for tomorrow at 1:15 pm. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Members of the Gardening Club and our Eco Warriors took their school-grown wares to Barking Market last week. They were the first school to sell out while raising an impressive £133. The children did so well that they made £20 before even making it to the market stall!

Nursery had a visit from the ice cream van today. There is nothing better than an ice cream in the sunshine!

Our Sports Day photo gallery is now live on our website. Well done to all who took part and came along to support the children. Also, a huge thank you to Mrs Watkinson and Mr Weston for all the time and effort they put in to make sure every day runs smoothly.

Don't forget that Pupils have their class parties on Monday 21st July, they are allowed to wear their own clothing.

School closes on Tuesday 22nd July at 2pm and re-opens on Wednesday 3rd September 2025 for Y1-Y6 pupils. Nursery and Reception children will have been advised of their return/start dates previously. Wishing you all a very happy, enjoyable and safe Summer break.
