Great achievement for Inverso Lab Congratulations!

Happy to share our latest work on SARS-CoV-2. Great team-work of the Iannacone Lab Are we protected towards a heterologous SARS-CoV-2 challenge after a prior vaccination or infection? YES, even in the absence of antibodies! How is it possible? Read the paper and find the answer

The power of T cells minus antibodies - thanks Thi H. O. Nguyen & Katherine Kedzierska for a thoughtful commentary on our paper! nature.com/articles/s4159…

Interesting review about the roles of IFNs during SARS-CoV-2 infection! From a great lab Ivan Zanoni Don't miss it!

Excited to share our latest snapshot just published in Journal of Hepatology in the Iannacone Lab with @VenzinValentina Francesco Andreata and Valeria Fumagalli. Here, we visually summarize the liver's unique hepatic immune landscape in HBV infection. Check it out! sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

💡 Excited to share a "News and Views" in Nature Immunology spearheaded by Francesco Andreata on a fascinating study by Heim et al. revealing a unique subset of CD8+ T cells in chronic #HBV infection that retains cytotoxic functions, challenging the classical view of T cell exhaustion.

Our latest paper "NaCl enhances CD8+ T cell effector functions in cancer immunotherapy" is now out Nature Immunology nature.com/articles/s4159… 🥳🎉🍾. A 🧵:

Absolutely excited to be at the #ImmunOctoberfest symposium hosted by TU München amidst this stunning Bavarian landscape! It’s a privilege to join and learn from world’s leading researchers in T cell immunology. Iannacone Lab Valeria Fumagalli @VenzinValentina

Are you interested in HBV? Let's look at our 'Year in Review' in Nature Reviews Gastroenterology & Hepatology to see the main discoveries in 2024 that redifine HBV-specific CD8+ T cell dysfunction. Note: Disfunction is different from exhaustion!

Honored to receive the 2024 AISF - Associazione Italiana Studio Fegato -Italian Association for the Study of the Liver- award for the best basic science publication. I humbly retire the prize on behalf of all co-authors from Iannacone Lab and our amazing national & international collaborators. Kudos to all!
