The deeper I dive into DeepLearning.AI's specializations, the more I’m loving the modern world of #AI and #ML. Excited to reach a level where I can implement cutting-edge ML papers and architectures on my own! (Day 30 / 90)

Genuine question: If infrence costs are continual decline and userbase for both ChatGPT and Anthropic are increasing, why are their subscription costs not coming down ? $20 USD / month is still high for average non american consumer.

Nobody can convince me that JavaScript isn't absurd for backend dev, full of gotchas and unintuitive APIs. Just found out you can create a range-like object with Array.from({length: 90}, <map_fn>). The doc says Array.from accepts iterables—how is {length: 90} an iterable🤔

When #nodejs #deno #bun developers say, TypeScript provides type safety, they don't know what the hell they are talking about. #typescript is just as broken as #javascript which it wishes to replace.

Noticed a pattern where Anthropic 's #claude #sonnet35 has significantly been failing on simple tasks. It just doesn't understand what is being asked and go on exploring tangents on its own. Not sure what happened lately.

Have to say it that Scala 3's "significant indentation syntax" is extremely poorly designed. It breaks all norms of simplicity, and introduces keywords like `do`, `then` , `end`, `:` just to support indentation blocks. why not use 1 uniform token `:` or `do` ? #scala

Asked Perplexity to find 10 batsmen, sorted by 100s/innings in tests. Only problem, stats don't match with ESPNcricinfo. #Kohli is shown to have played 126 matches, on cricinfo 122. other stats equally wrong. Note how confidently #perplexity looks while being wrong. scary!

(Day #4 / 100) with Rust : Diving into Rust Language after years of Python/Java/Go/Scala/JS: it's a complete paradigm shift in how we think about program execution & correctness. Truly embodies 'design with purpose' 🦀. Never seen anything reaching for perfection so blatantly.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Anthropic customer support ? Do they even have a CX or is it all a ghost town ? I've send them messages through claude, only to receive messages that they'll email and it's been 4 days now.
