We are thrilled to be shortlisted for the Inspiring Women in Science- Science Outreach Category Award by Nature Journal. It is a privilege to stand alongside 5 incredible candidates. We would like to thank Tara Foundation for being the partner in this project and our Team.

Our field team started conducting the English Bridge course and distributed booklets to all the Girls in KGBVs. This program aims to equip the Girls with the necessary skills and foundational knowledge of English required for the academic year they have entered. #bridgecourse

We started our Sports Program- Run2Fly, in all 5 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) in Mewat, Haryana. Onboarded 3 female Running Coordinators to these KGBVs; they are allotted to each school and will coordinate all the work on sports for our Girls.

We are thrilled to announce that we've been selected as the winners of 2023 Nature Award for Inspiring Women in Science under the Science Outreach category for our Science Gender Program “Mai Bhi Curie”. It's a very special moment for us and our project partner, TARA foundation.

Introducing our ⭐Mai Bhi Curie Team⭐ Kavya Bhola, Program Gender Consultant- Mai Bhi Curie. She works in training and managing the Jalmana team for workshops, creating content, reflection mechanisms and pre -post test surveys of the Science Gender Program.

Ankita-Program Manager- Mai Bhi Curie She handles capacity building of fellows for impactful facilitation/students session, module reading & reviewing , detailed documentation of the sessions, weekly reflection of sessions & modules, and logistic arrangement for the session.

Asmeen- Field Coordinator- Mai Bhi Curie. She manages school visits and sessions for the girls, attends regular meetings with program leaders, and discusses successful reading models.

Mahima- Field Coordinator- Mai Bhi Curie She facilitates sessions in the classrooms for girls in KGBVs. Working in schools helped her learn a lot, especially to develop her scientific knowledge and overall personality.

Mahima's biggest learning from girls is that "there is no fixed time for learning, we only need a curious mind and we can learn throughout our life with the strength of that curiosity." #SwaTaleem #STEM #Science #Gender #MaiBhiCurie

Pooja Devi-Field Coordinator-⭐ Mai Bhi Curie ⭐ She facilitates different sessions for the Girls in KGBVs. By working in schools and conducting different sessions for Girls, she learned a lot about Science and presented her own points well in front of others.
