I came across this injured monkey today on NH in Haridwar, which was hit by a speeding vehicle. It happened as a vehicle dropped food items for monkeys & they all rushed to grab it.People don't realise the danger of feeding wildlife.The monkey is now being treated by our team.

Update : The monkey is fine and responding well to treatment !

A #crocodile which had strayed in a village in Laksar Range of #Haridwar Forest Division was successfully rescued and released back into the Ganges last night by our team.Being a low lying flood plain area ,Laksar is an excellent habitat for crocodiles & pythons.

As part of our crackdown on #wildlifecrime, two poachers were arrested yesterday by the team of #Haridwar Range.The accused had entered the forest for hunting but were eventually caught by our patrolling team.A gun along with knives & other equipments were recovered from them.
