Because spending 30 hours in JFK wasn’t enough bad luck, this morning we had mechanical issues with our bus. But no worries, our kids were still upbeat and found a way to enjoy their extra time in Monteverde. I think this group could make a pitcher of lemonade out of one lemon.

For those who haven’t heard, my son tested positive for Covid on one of the last days of our trip. I am here with him in an adjoining room and he is starting to feel a bit better already. I’m so grateful to @KeriNewcomb for leading our group home so I could be here with him. ❤️
