It rained all night and didn’t stop until lunchtime, but I did go into Heidelberg. I climbed up to the Philosophenweg viewpoints which I hadn’t done before. Now having a campsite beer as a reward. Hope the weather is better tomorrow!

On the radio in Germany they are saying that new car prices rose by 40% between 2019 and 2024, compared to inflation generally of 24%. Meanwhile, China keeps turning coal power into cheap cars. Well done, legislators. That greenwashing is working out well. But only for China.

In out of the blue news, I’m unexpectedly not well. Fever, headache, shivering. It started 2 hours ago. ➕fully stocked medicine cabinet in the camper van. ➖ I hope it doesn’t affect my PSA test on Monday. ➖ I’m supposed to be crossing the channel again on Wednesday 🙁
