I have never seen anything like this happen before at Columbia. There is no fear left among students. Organizers were arrested en masse & when I got out of jail, I was told students occupied another lawn on their own. Hundreds are willing to risk arrest. I am so filled with hope.

The students are now singing in a huddle facing down the entire might of the NYPD. Oh my heart.

i can not stop watching this video: the calm courage, the speed & the numbers, the communal care, the reference to 1968. the bird songs! these students are still out there staring down 100s of NYPD officers. we can thank them for their leadership via venmo (bcabolitioncollective)

Just got out of jail after Columbia called NYPD to mass arrest 100+ students. I have been suspended and evicted from housing by Barnard. This has only strengthened my commitment to the movement for Palestinian liberation and I promise to continue fighting for divestment.
