Graduate student Alicia Mand was among over 50 other graduate students and postdocs across campus who were selected to present at UW–Madison Day at the Capitol today. Alicia spoke with policymakers, alumni and community members about neutrino astronomy at the South Pole.


A HAWC Observatory paper led by researchers Sara Coutiño de León and UW-Madison Physics student Hongyi Wu was recently published in Physical Review Letters and highlighted in American Physical Society. The study looked at gamma-ray halos surrounding pulsars.🎉 wipac.wisc.edu/hawc-detection…
