Day one at Global Digital Intimacies Conference @ the University of Amsterdam is Go! What a day! 🖤 #GDC_UVA24

Being part of this panel at #GDC_UVA24 was a dream - four people whose research I admire and could talk to about methodology and research ethics for hours!

I might be biased but I really enjoyed this talk by Blake Hallinan (& CJ Reynolds) on creator cartels as platform governance #GDC_UVA24 - also make sure to check out their new Internet Policy Review special issue paper on copyright callouts! Important work on user-generated platform governance

I wish I was in Amsterdam, but great to be part of conversations #GDC_UVA24 and present my paper on single mothers dating in an excellent panel on singles and sugar daddies on dating apps.

So glad I could contribute to this roundtable discussion on 'Digital Methods for Sex Work Research: Complexities and Intimacies' at #GDC_UVA24. An incredible group of early career researchers engaged in innovative, intersectional, feminist and queer research methods. Follow them!
