The CNN interviewing Jolani is apparently proof that he’s a US agent…according to the tinfoil variety of “anti-imperialists”. News flash, fam: Assad has been interviewed by the CNN, ABC, NBC multiple times in the last 20 years. Please stop embarrassing yourselves. Thanks.

"How's that revolution looking for you, huh?" - Quietist rhetorical question asked with a snigger, 2015. "It's going great, fam. Almost done cleaning out Damascus." - Activist reply with a smile, 2024. If you know, you know. :)

Tinfoil “anti-imperialists” on 5 DECADES of the Assads doing jack all for the Golan Heights: silence and obfuscation. Same ppl on Jolani 1 DAY after he comes to power: OMG, why hasn’t he said/done anything about Israeli incursions!? Is it ignorance or ideological bigotry?

Five years ago, a conversation transformed my understanding of Syria's prison sector—and the Syrian regime itself. As Syrians excavate survivors from Sednaya, I’m sharing an edited transcript of that discussion. The speaker is an Arab researcher who spent decades in Damascus 🧵

Israeli incursions into and US attacks on Syria show that the rebels are a US/Israeli project!! Because of course, it’s all good when your real enemy has access to significant infrastructure and weapons. But when your agents come to power, you can’t allow them that. Duh!

The scenes coming from #Sednaya are haunting — this wasn’t just a prison & torture center, it was a concentration camp. A true horror. Mountains of bodies. Rooms full of disposed clothes & shoes. Skeletons. Bodies partially destroyed by acid.

Without hell, there will be no justice for people like Bashar al-Assad. And without heaven there will be no release for those who suffered under him and did not live to see this day.

I don’t know how many videos I watched showing prisoners from Sednaya in this state. They are in half vegetation state. Imagine the severity of the torture that would stop your brain

The horrors of the Sednaya concentration camp represent what Assad stood for and what the Axis of “Resistance” propped up…but also, despite the rhetoric otherwise, what the US and Europe turned a blind eye too and even supported and utilised (“rendition”) when expedient.
