I'm honestly easy with whatever happens with Hojlund.
If he stays, I think that's best for the team as he provides a legitimately top bench/rotation option which we lack.
If he leaves permanently, the club can draw a line under a "failed" experiment (one that never really got
Hojlund will only be wanting a loan because he sees the direction the club is going (rapidly) and believes he can be a part of it.
His main issue is that he's not even the best Danish striker prospect at the club so time really isn't on his side in that department.
One tweak Amorim needs to do permanently:
OOP — Mbeumo inside, Amad outside
IP — Amad inside, Mbeumo outisde
There would still be ample rotation to create unpredictability but it suits both player's strengths a lot more in all areas of the game.
Preseason done going undefeated (3W 2D) & bringing back both trophies.
MVP — Mason Mount.
Honorable mentions: Dorgu, Mainoo & Yoro.
Mostly good (interplay/synergy building, systemic/structural changes), some yet to see (Sesko) & the bad is crippling (midfield/goalkeeper).
