Our Juneau-based Pilatus Aircraft Ltd PC-12 on a flight in Skagway, Alaska. This aircraft cruises at 330 MPH, and can land at most rural airfields. It's a workhorse of a flying ICU, complete with a hydraulic crane. With its Swiss design, it's also got some style. #EMS Andrew Latimer
Flight Nurse Angela German administers plasma to a patient on Airlift 7 out of Yakima. We provide two units of blood and two units of plasma on all our aircraft. Their use has been proven to increase survival rates. Thanks to our partners Harborview Medical Center & Lunatic Assa #HEMS #EMS

One of the most unique parts about the #UWashEMS Fellowship is the opportunity to serve as a flight physician with Airlift Northwest. Earlier this week @djsonstengphoto captured Dr. Betty Yang (Betty Yang, MD MS) headed back to base after dropping off a patient at UW Medicine. #EMSfellowship

Really proud of this work by Seattle Fire Dept. Medic One. Always working to improve patient care for the most critically ill patients in our community. The mantra of “measure and improve” definitely applied during this project. UW Emergency Medicine Harborview Medical Center
