Final passage of HB 27 (already passed Senate) Lawmakers keep their daily salary @ $117, continuing a 10 percent reduction from last year.
There is a call of the House for the 38/36 vote on amending SB 66, ultimately passing upon vote's end.
SB66 passes 63/9 in the House, addressing home school and private school students' participation in extracurricular activities.
Last Day of Legislative Session. Speaker Clark said on KSL this morning that nearly 60 bills will be discussed/voted on today.
SB251 passes in the House, helping to protect against identity theft by addressing verification of employed persons.
HB166 passes in the House. This bill amended provisions concerning public school administration, funding, and reporting requirements.
Being heavily debated is SB2, a bill which will reduce appropriations provided for school districts.
SB277 is still being debated on the House floor. This bill modifies public safety laws regarding DNA collection.
SB277 passes in the House, meant to update the current system to more include DNA in violent and other crimes.
SB119 is on the House floor, aimed at limiting the date in which certain special elections are called by a local school board.
