This is why we’re participating in the critical mass ride on 31 March. Chapel street is not safe enough for cyclists and that needs to change.

theage.com.au/national/victo… I remember this like it was yesterday. 😔 "The Dutch couple wanted to live abroad before they began a family and so travelled to Australia, landed great jobs in Melbourne and got around their adopted city on bicycles." That could have been me, or my wife.

BetterStreets Australia Greville Street in Prahran is a perfect example of a street that should be pedestrianised. Good for local traders and good for locals.

Our members in attendance last night all agreed that Tom was great. We’re lucky to have such passionate advocates for a sustainable future in the Melbourne cycling community.

In 2018 City of Stonnington announced a commitment to the eventual elimination of death and serious injury from all roads within the municipality. But TAC data suggests that over that period, there were 556 injuries requiring hospitalisation and 7 fatalities, now 8.

Do you have opinions about the shrine to sea project in Port Phillip? The councillors have been hearing a lot from the vocal minority who cannot imagine sacrificing a few car parks for a more equitable transport future. Come on weds and be home in time to watch the Matlidas!

Stonnington is reviewing their Parking Action Plan. Let them know that they need to better utilise the numerous empty parking lots along Chapel Street so that they can reallocate street space for people, not just car storage. connectstonnington.vic.gov.au/PAP
