I am getting too old: Migrated 3 #x64 #kvm guests from legacy #bios to #uefi without reinstallation - using the magic of #fdisk #lvm and #resize2fs ... but yet: I made 3 different mistakes on those 3 identical servers. Managed to resolve all but 2 out of 3 were not needed.

Migration finished. The #KVM on the #raspberrypi now carries: a #git server, a #cups server, #dogtag-#pki instances (master+clone), a mail server (smtp, pop3, imap, antispam, antivirus), an #openldap server, an #icinga2 instnace and a tools server (#squid, #mongodb, ...)

Tinkering with live migration of #libvirtd in a non-shared storage setup - Wow: for a basic #Linux VM setup it works like a charm and even the #ssh connection to the Linux VM guest stays established.

Finally found the time to upgrade #openbsd on my #alix boards from 6.8 to 7.8 - automation is now close to 95% ... and I destroyed several thousand days of #uptime time

Done!! Now I can convert a standard #openbsd system into a one with #readonly #filesystem , #carp setup, #ssh access only via #jail / #chroot ... just to run few scripts, reboot .. mission accomplished.

checking out Linux on #ppc64l via #qemu : #fedora #debian #opensuse. Checked #x86 and #arm64 #kvm as host - both are equally painful slow
