Here is our recently published work on using light and photoacids for controlling CO2 in a conventional non-aqueous CO2 sorb material. The trick is to use protons (the fulcrum of the lever in the image below) to couple the two equilibria. pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…

I can't believe this program between USC Chemistry & cerritoscollege has been running for 14 years now and has reached almost 50 students. All the interns have transferred to 4-year universities and over 95% have majored in STEM. dornsife.usc.edu/news/stories/u…

Our recent collaborative work with Dmitry Eremin Fokin Lab USC on assessing the oxidative effects of micro droplets was just accepted in Angewandte Chemie . We use a series of ferrocenes to calibrate the extent of oxidation in nebulized sprays. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an…
