Work continues on repairing the vital breakwater at the Oswego Harbor. It is essential to providing safe navigation in and out of the harbor which supports $24.4 million in business revenue, 119 jobs and $8 million in labor income to the transportation sector.

Hazard buoys have been placed at the entrance of slip 3 at Wilkeson Pointe. While usage of slip 3 is anticipated to increase in the long run for paddle craft, sport fishing and birding, boats are currently prohibited from the slip while the project is underway.

Work continues at Presque Isle Beach in Erie, Pennsylvania, on our beach nourishment project. We are working on placing 45,300 cubic yards of new sand on the beaches while relocating 24,600 cubic yards from existing tombolos and replenishing our sand stockpile with 17,000 tons.
