A very impressive ichneumon wasp, either Callajoppa cirrogaster or exaltatoria. Both parasitize hawk moth caterpillars. This animal was observed by Bearsted Road, Maidstone. A fascinating discovery at the River Len Nature Reserve. A likely bird-sown Pokeweed (Phytolacca sp.) has appeared in an area of disturbed ground.
