The 2024 Annual Dialogue Meeting started today with a visit to the Nyamata Genocide Memorial, where over 10,000 Tutsis were killed during 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. In this visit, participants paid tribute to the genocide victims by laying a wreath in their honor #Kwibuka30

At #THEPanAfrica Universities Summit, with leaders from 32 countries, we engaged in productive discussions on the 'Future of African Higher Education'. It was also great to catch up with Prof Sunil Maharaj, VP University of Pretoria, on collaboration for mutual advancement with University of Rwanda

The University of Rwanda joins Rwandans and the rest of the world for the 30th commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi. We honour the lives lost, stand with survivors, and reaffirm our commitment to never forget.

Today UR signed a partnership agreement with two universities from #Poland Uniwersytet Rolniczy and Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy w Poznaniu | UPP respectively.
