Exciting News! We’re expanding our mission to Kindia the fourth largest city in Guinea. Starting Monday, for the first time in Kindia, we will deliver training to: ⁃500 girls ⁃1,500 sanitary kits will be donated ⁃1,000 boys ⁃50 teachers & 150 parents Stay tuned!

An impactful day in Kindia! On just the first day, we’ve already achieved nearly half of our target: - Trained 200 young girls on menstrual health - Donated 600 sanitary kits - Educated 406 young boys - Equipped 21 teachers & 57 parents Stay tuned for Day 2!

On our final day in Kindia: •Trained 308 young girls on menstrual health •Donated 900 sanitary kits •Educated 596 young boys on respecting and supporting girls •Equipped 44 teachers and 106 parents to assist girls during their periods 🙌

We had the pleasure of hosting Mariame Camara, Economic & Commercial Officer of the British Embassy. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the impactful work URBOND is doing on the ground. We are building a brighter futures for children from underprivileged communities.

Our menstruation workshops in Kindia have been an incredible success! The impact has been beyond our expectations, with heartfelt feedback from participants. Even better, the 1,500 sanitary kits donated were proudly made in Guinea by our talented sewing team!

On the 22 of February 2025, we welcomed over 150 villagers to share their thoughts on our biggest project yet, the new school building! This year, we plan to start teaching at the school, providing education to 500 children annually and creating 15 jobs for the local community.

At URBOND Centre, we hosted IWD celebrations, focusing on girls’ rights, gender equality and empowerment. Through interactive discussions and inspirational stories, 80 young girls engaged in conversations about education, equal opportunities, and overcoming barriers. #IWD2025
