#OnThisDay in 1968, Neil Armstrong was piloting the LLRV when it went out of control just 5 minutes into the flight. He ejected 200 ft off the ground, escaping a fatal crash. Remarkably, after the incident, Armstrong casually returned to his office and resumed paperwork.
