We are delighted to welcome Aniruddha Panda (Aniruddha Panda), who joins TIFR Hyderabad as the newest faculty member. With native mass spectrometry, lipidomics, proteomics & metabolomics, he is exploring how cellular biochemistry governs signalling & how its disruption leads to disease.

For the millionth time, tigers in Simlipal are NOT melanistic. Melanism is a mutation that makes skin black. Here, you can see it's not quite there. And thus, it's pseudomelanism. Compare this with “black panthers” we see. That is melanism in leopards and jaguars.
