School will be closed today (Wednesday 8 January). Owing to the hilly nature of the school site and the ice on the paths, children will not be able to move safely between buildings. Please check Google Classrooms where work will be set for the day.

UPDATE: The school site is still icy this afternoon despite our efforts. The site is being industrially treated /gritted this evening. We are doing everything possible to open tomorrow morning. and will endeavour to post an update by 7am tomorrow morning.

School remains closed today. The bottom car park is treacherous and inaccessible despite industrial gritting last night. This would make a fire evacuation would be impossible. Staff will either hold live lessons or set work on Google classrooms so learning will continue.

Following a further site inspection, it is hoped that it will be safe to open tomorrow, as long as there isn't further rain, hail or snow. Another inspection will be done at 6.30am tomorrow morning to enable a timely decision to be made and communicated to you. (1/2)
