The institute was represented by Prof. Constantin Viorel Marian, Vice-Chair IEEE Blockchain Group Romania and professor at Universitatea POLITEHNICA din București. We highlighted the #cybersecurity priority of our university.

#upbcampus We – the Signal Modelling and Analysis Lab – were pleased to welcome the delegation from Moldova State Uni to experience exchange activity where the #management, #objectives and #keyresults of the project were designed and scheduled between the two implementing teams.

#upbcampus We – the National Center for Micro and Nanomaterials, coordinated by SR Bogdan Vasile – were there, i.e., presenting our #research results at the 17th International Conference on Physics of Advanced Materials ICPAM-17, hosted by University of Shizuoka Hamamatsu, Japan.

#upbcampus We were there to support the 2nd edition of the Universitatea POLITEHNICA din București’s MaterialFEST, organized by the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, an event where students, professors, researchers have the opportunity to explore the #latestdiscoveries and #technologies.

#upbcampus We just concluded one of the most exciting 12-hour hackathons on #AI #softwaredevelopment #appliedelectronics, the #CodeQuest hackathon. It was a coordinated effort of Universitatea POLITEHNICA din București via the CAMPUS Research Institute (AIMultimediaLab) with the Foreign Intelligence Service.

#upbcampus We were very pleased to kick-off our math initiative on “Mathematics for Understanding Artificial Intelligence – The Mathematical Foundations of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence” an open-course taught by Prof. Alexandru Negrescu.

#upbcampus We – the Energy & Sustainable Environment Lab, led by Prof. Diana Cocârță – took part in the HuMUS project’s Final Conference: Participatory Governance for Soil Health Quality Management: The Legacy of the HuMUS Project, hosted by the European Committee of the Regions.
