Happy Friday Everyone!! A laser scan at Chesil has now been completed. Once the data has been processed we will compare it to the last scan to see if there have been any changes/movement.

A hi-tech sensor called a ‘B-Scan Sensor Unit’ has been installed on Hayling Island beach this week by Coastal Marine Applied Research The sensor will help us to understand how the beach responds to storms & surge events. The B-Scan system purely monitors beach material.
