UN Women Caribbean and the Government of Grenada launched a partnership to strengthen SDG5 (gender equality). This initiative is part of the #BuildBackEqual Programme, funded by Global Affairs Canada, and aims to empower women and girls in Grenada. Learn more: caribbean.unwomen.org/en/stories/pre…

The world is not on track to achieve gender equality by 2030. Globally, out of 18 indicators for the SDGs, only 1 indicator is close to target: the proportion of seats held by women in local government. We need to monitor progress on all other goals from a gender perspective.
