From our lowest emotional point comes our most significant growth. Our greatest dependence on God ,our platform of ministry.

Fasting does not control or manipulate God to answer our prayers, but rather we should fast because we want to seek God earnestly and our total dependence on him. God is sovereign and what he has decided will be.

Whatever we feed, grows. Whatever we starve, dies. We must starve the "fleshly lusts", the ungodly desires of our minds and body. Stay away from all appearance of evil(1 Thessalonians 5:21) From the book Conquest of the mind.
