Also says to me given Hojlund could be an option off the bench in a squad with unlimited funds, whatever he says publicly Amorim absolutely wants the midfield strengthened this window. That requires sellable assets elsewhere to go

Aside from the keeper gifting the goal (he did because you have to be strong and be a battering ram to command your area), I thought there were a number of good performances today. MDL, Shaw, Cunha and Mbeumo were all really strong. Annoying to have not worked out the

Fulham + Burnley next two weeks before that first int break feel crucial now. United’s performance today will be forgotten quickly (unfairly or not) if we follow it up with more dropped points. Anything less than 2/3 wins ahead of Chelsea and City would ramp up the pressure.

Quite a promising performance but we lost at OT again, ok v a team finishing 2nd ly but the fine margin came from a situation which was a glaring issue last season, will probably get sorted come end of the window, but its 3 points dropped in what is a v diff opening run #mufc

We started off with a drab 1-0 win at home to Fulham last season but the performance was telling and a sign of things to come. Reverse has occured today. Performance-wise, very, very encouraging. A few should be embarrassed by what they've said and how they've reacted. #MUFC

Cunha and Mbeumo are going to be very good signings for Utd this season, I just hope their G&A tallies come the end of the season also reflects this

It was just one game, and they still lost, but #MUFC's performance against Arsenal on Sunday suggested their summer transfer business has helped spur a vast improvement in Ruben Amorim's team. The question now is whether they can continue to upgrade. 📝 Laurie Whitwell 🔗

Sancho is 26 next summer and the last time he played well consistently was when he was 21. He’s disrespected United. He’s turned down good moves because of money. I wonder who he thinks is going to give him a massive signing on fee and great contract next summer? 👀

The biggest outlier for me here, is Bayindir has made an exact similar mistake previously & here we are again, same with Onana & all his mistakes, we keep seeing them be repeated

Oliver Jones (@united_roadmufc) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Also Mount shouldn’t be marking Saliba and the GK could have not panicked and made a better decision and just left it for MDL to clear it

Dan (@altgthr) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Craig Dobbs Here is the thing, I don’t think Onana is as bad as made out, but he is going to be unavailable for potentially 8 games during AFCON and add in Arsenal and probably Fulham, that’s a third of the season with Bayindir in goal. It just can’t be allowed to happen.

A number of current Premier League managers have complained publicly that they want their club to sign more players — some of whom have a point. For others, it’s difficult to take them seriously. It may be reductive, but the reaction to a lot of the unhappiness from managers

He’s worth £50m everyday of the week. Honestly on this one I don’t want the club to buckle due to needing sales, I’d rather keep him
